Nick's Pets

Tony & Joey

I am a cat lover and currently have two tigers. Tony is on the left and Joey is on the right. I got them when they were a few months old. They are both neutered and stay inside.

When I first got them, I started them on a potty training program. They had no problem using a litter box, but I had a problem cleaning it. I wanted them to use the toilet. I started by putting a toilet seat on the litter box so they would get used to standing on it while they went to the bathroom. I moved the litter box next to the toilet. After a couple of weeks, I put a plastic bowl in the toilet and filled it with litter. I then removed their normal litter box. They started going in the toilet right away. I left it this way for several weeks and then started using less and less litter in the bowl. I had to clean it more often but they seemed comfortable going on the toilet. If the litter got too dirty, they would poop on the floor, but they would always pee in the toilet. When I finally decided to try removing the bowl, they would not go to the bathroom in it. Although they seemed to find it refreshing to drink out of. After a couple of weeks of cleaning crap off the floor I decided to give up and let them use the litter box.

Tony Releiving Himself

I have trouble keeping them out of places they shouldn't be. They like to get into the kitchen cupboards, so I had to put child saftey latches on them. Tony somehow got inside of my arcade machine. I came home one day and he was no place to be found. A couple hours later, as I was watching TV, I noticed him sleeping on the ledge under the control panel inside of my arcade machine. I don't know how he got in there. Go to my Emulation page to find out more about the arcade machine.
